Fire safety in renewable energy sources - conference organized by TUiR "WARTA" S.A.
Today's presentation was truly at a high level — precisely on the 45th floor of the Warsaw Unit. This is information about the location and not an evaluation of the presentation, which I leave to the participants. 😉
During the conference "Insurance Risks in the Renewable Energy Sector," organized by Warta SA, I had the pleasure of presenting the topic "Regulations, Requirements, and Directions for Change in Fire Protection in Renewable Energy." I discussed the threats and solutions for the safety of photovoltaic installations, energy storage, and energy infrastructure, as well as proposed changes to the regulations.
The particularly valuable part was the interesting exchange of views among representatives from various sectors: an insurer involved in risk assessment, users of renewable energy sources, a manufacturer of energy storage systems, and a fire safety expert.
Different experiences and perspectives, but a common goal: the safe development of renewable energy. Such conversations help to better understand both the opportunities of new technologies and the challenges related to their design, operation, and insurance.
I thank the organizers for the invitation and the participants for the inspiring discussions and exchange of experiences.
