Scientific and Technical Council of SITP
The Association of Fire Protection Engineers and Technicians established the Scientific and Technical Council of SITP, whose role will encompass the scope of activities of the former Commission for Guidelines and Standards for Fire Protection Design and the Council of the SITP Chamber of Experts. The Council will be involved in broadly understood substantive activities related to design guidelines, guidebooks, and other publications issued by the Association, and will substantively supervise the activities of the SITP Chamber of Experts. The Council is also to serve as an advisory body within the Association. And here, somewhat intimidated by the group of people I found myself among, I will boast that the Main Board of SITP has entrusted me with the position of Chairman of the Scientific and Technical Council of SITP. I hope to live up to expectations.
