I am pleased to inform you that the latest issue features my article dedicated to systems integrating fire protection equipment. In the article, I present the latest guidelines developed in cooperation between the Association of Fire Protection Engineers and Technicians and the Scientific and Research Centre for Fire Protection – National Research Institute regarding the design, installation, and maintenance of systems integrating fire protection equipment.✅
Information and communication technology plays an increasingly important role in our lives. Fire protection is no exception. All the more so because the operation of modern facilities depends on an increasing number of various safety devices. Their abundance makes them increasingly difficult to use and operate. In highly complex safety systems, often distributed over large areas of building structures, it is also necessary to collect information coming from the systems, as well as to ensure their remote operation in one place. The solution not only to these problems is ICT solutions, which we call systems integrating fire protection equipment, abbreviated as SIUP.
